[COMPANY LLC] ("we", "us") operates the CatchEdge service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account data: first name, last name, email, hashed password, timestamps.
• Trading data: sessions, trades, P/L, rule configurations, broker credentials (encrypted).
• AI-generated data: debriefs, insights, suggestions produced by AI models in response to your data.
• Usage data: pages visited, feature interactions (for product improvement).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: (a) operate and improve the Service; (b) generate AI-powered coaching based on your trading history; (c) communicate with you about your account; and (d) comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of the data you submit to CatchEdge. The full license you grant us is described in Section 4 of the Terms of Use. In summary: we hold a broad, non-exclusive license to process and analyze your data to provide and improve the Service, not a transfer of ownership.

4. Third Parties

We share data with these service providers as strictly needed to operate the Service:

• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Anthropic — AI model inference for coaching and analytics
• DigitalOcean — hosting and database infrastructure
• Tradovate — broker integration (credentials encrypted at rest)
• Stripe — payment processing (forward-looking)

Each provider is bound by their own privacy terms.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and trading data for as long as your account is active. On deletion, we remove your personal data from our production systems within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may persist in training datasets.

6. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected].

7. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Broker credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Verification tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Communication uses HTTPS/TLS.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. We also use a UX cookie (ce_returning) to recognize returning visitors, which is only set after you consent via the cookie banner. You can change your cookie preferences by clearing your browser cookies for this site.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
